I would love to know the story behind this house. It is similar to the house next door (not pictured), but it clearly became something else, like a doctor’s office, maybe. Look at that porch and the curve of the arch! And the back stretches much further back from the street. Or maybe a funeral home?

I think it is cut stone.
It was definitely a doctors office at one time. I once visited the home in 2004 when it was for sale. Many of the medical equipment remained in the home. It was damaged by fire
This home was once owned by a prominent attorney around 1910, and then became embattled in litigated when the attorney divorced.
