Northwest Gravois Park

Heading down Louisiana south of Cherokee Street, a fascinating mix of extremely old wood frame houses pop up in between the normal early Twentieth Century streetcar suburban houses that Gravois Park is known for.

But they point to the early exurban nature of the neighborhood, just a couple of blocks away from Gravois Road.

Around the corner onto Potomac, facing the park, there is then this amazing duplex, like something I would expect to see in Marktown, Indiana, but with the typical St. Louis panache.
