Update: See the decline of the street in July of 2018 and August of 2020. The stone duplex was gutted by fire on January 31, 2024, with the fire spreading to the brick house to the north.

Whoa, things sure have blossomed around here since the last time I photographed the incredibly historic Vulcan Street in Carondelet. I fear for the future of these houses; it’s too isolated down this way.
