Charless Home, New Life

Update: Historic photo added in October of 2021.

The old “Home for the Friendless” is getting new life; I think the renovation looks very nice from the outside.

This historic photo shows there was once another building in a different style in the rear of the complex made out of red brick.

This is a perfect place for senior apartments, close to the interstate so relatives can visit quickly.

Would you consider giving rough street addresses for the buildings you photograph, Chris? That way people would be able to see exactly where they are on GoogleMaps.

Sorry, second Broadway exit southbound off of 55.

But trying to locate the buildings on Google maps using only the clues in the post is one of my favorite games. So fun!

I also usually don’t post addresses to protect people’s privacy. Also, particularly abandoned buildings, I don’t like to give away clues to protect their locations.
