I wandered around Enright Avenue and Delmar Boulevard west of Vandeventer and took in some of the sights.

There’s an old fires station that looks to have been converted into a house.

There are a lot of original buildings but there’s also a lot in-fill from the early Twenty-First Century, such as the houses below.

Some of the housing is quite old, as can be seen below in this Italianate house next to a home that has suffered collapse of its pediment.

The four-family below has at least one side that has been converted into a single family, something that has become extremely common in South St. Louis.

I think at this point I moved over to Delmar.

There are so many vacant lots along Delmar, though there are many occupied houses. I feel like it would be a good street for in-fill with it being so close to the Central West End.

There are some extremely modern houses next to some more standard brick faced in-fill to the right.

But we also see some of the grand homes that made the neighborhood famous.
