Update: I went back in June of 2018.
The narrow strips of city in between the iconic arteries of the Northside sometimes go unnoticed, but there are many surprises.
But honestly, sometimes it is sad to travel these blocks; there is not a lot of good news to report.
But the beauty remains, even if it is scarred and abandoned.

Chris’s work occupies the tension between promise and elegy. To be able to see through both prisms is vital.
