I’ve been coming back to this beautiful stretch of Hebert Street, which has the critical mass to be holding up, even after the arsons coming around on a decade ago.
There are some interesting little houses along here, such as these three. I suspect all three originally looked like the one on the right, and then the one in the middle received an Italianate reskinning, and the one on the left had a second floor added at some point.
These houses would below would be worth several hundred thousand dollars in Soulard or Benton Park.
