Update: I revisited this area in July of 2023.

Not every street has good news happening on it in the West End. At the T-intersection of Hodiamont and Suburban avenues, there are many vacant lots and abandoned buildings. This funeral home sits at the end of the street.

But the houses are beautiful and in good condition, even in abandonment.

There area by the mid Twentieth Century had become run down.
