Good find. In doing some of my own research on this bridge, I learned that numerous cars drove off the bridge as they approached the main span, because (as you can see in the first photo on the PD article) the auto-deck makes a sharp S-curve right before it hits the river, where the cars are like 10-15 stories up! Great design. i think they are finally removing that deck, whats left of it.
