There are a wealth of beautiful houses lining the side streets north of Cass Avenue and the once-fashionable Midtown.

Update: I revisited the Little Snack Shop (13th photo down) in May of 2020.

Sadly, it does not seem like redevelopment will make it to this unique neighborhood in time.

Update: The houses below have suffered more collapse as of April 2019.

The stunning Second Empire rowhouses were not in this bad of condition even just a year or two ago.

But some families do hold on, keeping the faith in their neighborhood.
