Update: See Virginia Avenue through this portion of the neighborhood.

The terrain goes back up from the valley down at Compton Avenue where it reaches Grand Boulevard. There is an interesting mix of houses and apartment buildings.

Most of the houses were built in the early Twentieth Century, but then there are the occasional older houses, such as the Second Empire house below.

There are many beautiful four-family apartment buildings.
