Highland Avenue, Wells-Goodfellow

One of the strangest and most unique streets in Wells-Goodfellow is the narrow, one-way Highland Avenue, which is lined with wood frame houses. There must be a reason why they are all here, built out when this was the middle of nowhere.

Many of them retain their original millwork, but they are going abandoned rapidly, or are being destroyed by fire.

I wonder about the future of this street; there are still a fair number of people living on this one block stretch.
