The houses east of St. Boniface are very old, including these two above. Sadly, their neighbor to the east didn’t make it. It was a very old two-story half-flounder, and while it had some structural issues, I wonder how bad it had gotten. Development is slow in this neighborhood, unfortunately.

There’s some nice wood frame houses, as well, including this one below with an extension to the east.

These houses with the squat hipped roofs are super old.

I wonder if the slate is preserved under this vinyl on the Second Empire house below. I suspect it is.

We actually saw these houses before briefly in this post heading north up Pennsylvania Avenue back in February of 2023 (third photo).
