Update: See the cemetery in October of 2018, along with the famous Father Dickson Cemetery, when I back to see how it was doing.

After the old Evangelisch Lutheran cemetery, founded in 1848 at Gravois and Wilmington, had to close in 1926, it was moved out to Rock Hill Road.

The cemetery is about half full, and curiously, one half is largely empty except what are obviously more pricey family plots, which lie to the west and sit in isolation.

The cemetery was once part of the Grant Farm, and was also larger, before selling off a portion to developers.
