Here are the four corners of the intersection of Wells Avenue and Goodfellow Boulevard. Above, the northwest corner, below the northeast.
The southwest is below.
And finally the southeast.
One of the major reasons I dislike the official 79 neighborhoods in St. Louis (couldn’t think of an 80th one?) is that they routinely do not follow historic boundaries. The intersection of Wells and Goodfellow is in Hamilton Heights? Huh? The actual Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood is to the north.
I wish I could find something optimistic to say about the rest of Goodfellow Boulevard south of MLK. It’s beaten up, badly. Lots of houses that have clearly been abandoned recently. Sad.
