      Geo St. Louis lists the (usually) accurate date of construction. You must always balance what the site says with the style of architecture of the building, any additions (which mess up the date listed), and whether it’s logical that anything had yet been built in that area of the city at the date.

    Using the URI link to you St Louis Magazine article, it as of 17Sep25, returns a 404 page not found error. Also, the Wayback Machine at Archive.org did not archive it.
